The first album of the YAH!Z. World Music Project by the two musicians and songwriters Vincent and Matt Roehr.
Yah!Z moves somewhere between fusion, groove, open sound spaces, and subtle breaks. Complex, but not complicated. Relaxed, but never trivial. And the impressive thing: everything seems to be cast from a single mold. As if someone knew exactly when a note needed air, when a beat would draw in or retreat, when a guitar could carry the entire world on its own for a moment.
The album YAH!Z. was recorded in Budapest and Barcelona over the course of 2023 and 2024. The album was mixed by Vincent Roehr and mastered at Abbey Road Studios London by Christian Wright .
