***** IMPORTANT *****
Behavior in case of damage in transit:
If the shipping company wants to deliver a shipment damaged, we ask for your assistance: while we bear the risk of shipping, and complaints can and should be reported to us, of course, we will only be reimbursed for the damage if you assist us by following this procedure, please:

Upon receipt of the merchandise, please check to see if the shipping carton is undamaged. If the shipping box is damaged or bent or dented, then it would normally be easiest to unpack the goods in the presence of the parcel service and check whether they have also been affected.
Since this is unfortunately hardly possible nowadays, we ask you to refuse acceptance of the goods directly. Reason: "transport damage".
If the delivery has simply been dropped off, you must report the unopened package immediately by presenting the entire shipment at the nearest post office.
There, a "damage assessment for a shipment to be proven after delivery" will be recorded. This will then be subsequently refused acceptance. Please send us a copy of this damage report by e-mail (photograph or scan).
This damage report with the damaged consignment will be forwarded to the delivery or departure freight center and forms the basis for the damage assessment and a possible replacement settlement with the sender of the freight consignment.

Everything else will be settled with you and with the damage settlement of the transport company.
Unfortunately, the fact is that if you accept the shipment and do not report the damage directly to the carrier, the shipment will be considered "properly delivered" and we will not be able to claim the damage caused by the carrier.
Thank you very much.
